Cherise Easley — Committed Milwaukee Educator with Faith Focus

Cherise Easley, EdD, is a Milwaukee, Wisconsin entrepreneur who has more than two decades of experience in Milwaukee, working with children to educate and inspire. A committed change agent, Cherise Easley is presently in the process of launching the Christian Private School UP Academy. The ethos of this dynamic institution is “Christ Centered. College Bound,” wherein a rigorous curriculum is paired with data-driven instruction, in the service of sustained life achievement.

Ms. Easley’s background extends to the late 1990s and a position as teacher and camp program director at the Urban Day School & Wright Way Leadership Camp. From 2002 to 2008, she served as assistant principal and gifted and talented teacher with the Young Leaders Academy. Her achievements included launching an Early Childhood Center at the Parklawn Campus, and she served as director of the Harley Readers Program. Most recently, she was Carter’s Christian Academy administrator and responsible for grades four through 12.

A prominent member of her professional community, Ms. Easley has presented at the Compass Learning Conference and nationally at the NWEA (Northwest Evaluation Association) Conference. Cherise Easley enjoys singing and line dancing in her free time, as well as supporting her children in activities such as gymnastics and sports.
